assignments

The layout of these assignments is very interesting, in one respect it's weird to not submit assignments and to just write blog posts on them but on the other hand I enjoy the freedom of it. I enjoy how personal it is and the own unique spin I can put on my work.

I like how we can do it all on our own accord, along with the extra credit exercises. It's a great way for us to get extra help and aid us us our work.

    Glad your enjoying the approach to the Module - It really depends on your effort to make it work so keep the good start.

    You might want to look again at how to complete the captions for the images or have a chat with me during the next week :)

growth mindset

This week’s blog is all about Growth Mindset. The whole idea of being on a learning curve and the idea of improving and growing in education and knowledge. Carol Dweck's TED talk is very enlightening as she delves into the idea of growth mindset, and how our minds are conditioned to be hard on ourselves and see our failures more than our winnings. Personally, I see myself on the growth mindset spectrum as I find myself focusing most on my failures and how I should improve, and how I react to feedback and how my brain decides to take it on and grow and learn through my work and use it to improve my skills. In my own college life, I have my own goals to set out to achieve, such as doing well in all of my modules and applying myself fully, most importantly in modules and assignments that may not be my strong point, or where my interests lie. Multimedia 2 - New Chapter

This semester, Multimedia Development is something a bit different. Instead of the individual work, we decided to create a group project, using all of our skills together to create something bigger, better. I decided to join a group of 19 members to design and create an interactive, story-based game on the 1916 rising. I am excited to see how this project will pan out and my contribution in it.
