game brainstorm

Game idea 1: Maze
For this game idea, I drew on inspiration from ‘Where’s Wally’, ‘Roll the Ball’ and many others. The idea of getting from one place to another through a series of events is a challenge everyone enjoys. It sets a task and the user wants to complete it before anyone else does as a sense of accomplishment. It would be a simple enough game design and layout with a easy concept, as I feel those games do well with audiences, people enjoy a simple yet addictive game!

Game idea 2: Adventure Puzzle
This game will be more of a challenge than the first one, creating more of an environment or world for the viewer to enjoy. The aim of the game would be simple, to collect tokens or ‘treasure’ to reach the end goal. The inspiration of this game relates back to one of my first blog posts about my favourite game, Temple Run. With a similar concept I would like to take my own spin on it and produce something different yet enjoyable!

Collect the all!

Game idea 3: Building a City
Everyone loved ‘The Sims’ growing up and loved creating and designing their own spaces filled with people and cool furniture. My game idea draws on that childhood memory and I would hope to create my own style of game. Creating and designing would always be something I would be interested in, excelled in. and to create a game that would not only showcase that, but enhance and improve it, would be ideal!

Game idea 4: Mix n Match
The idea of this game is to collect and sort objects with objects of similarity. It would be a very simplistic design and layout yet I would focus on it being stimulating enough for a user that they wouldn’t get too bored of it early on. Naturally sorting objects to group them with one another is a task we all enjoy, the likes of Tetris or Candy Crush would be of a similar topic. Highly addictive as we all love to create a neat and colour coordinated space!
