final art illustrations

as a team myself and Leah O Byrne, split the four scenes the research time had written up and drew our own illustrations for those scenes. i took scenes 2 and 3 and Leah did scenes 1 and 4. i began work on my illustrations so that the other members of the group would be able to use them to create the intro sequence. scene 2: Foggy and his brothers play with their hurls pretending they're riffles preparing for battle. Scene 3: Foggy and his brothers are in the sitting room, drinking and playing cards talking about their father. Saying they must avenge his death.

Film is one of the most magical creations of all time in my opinion. Being transported to a new world, filled with new adventures and new people to meet along the way, it sounds a lot like a book, but it’s the visual aspect of storytelling that gives people that magical feeling. From the way in which a film is shot, location, ideas, hidden messages right down to soundtracks, it makes up a different kind of experience from a book, stimulating multiple senses and engaging the audience with the characters and story line. How many times have you seen a movie and have just been mesmerised? The director making you fall in love with characters, grow to love or hate a character, cry at the sad bits and have happy tears at the good bits? Multimedia 2 - New Chapter

This semester, Multimedia Development is something a bit different. Instead of the individual work, we decided to create a group project, using all of our skills together to create something bigger, better. I decided to join a group of 19 members to design and create an interactive, story-based game on the 1916 rising. I am excited to see how this project will pan out and my contribution in it.
